Ingredients
- English cucumber, grated
- Salt
- Rice vinegar
- Sugar
- Pepper
- Mayonnaise
- Sriracha sauce
- Lime juice
- Honey
- Garlic, grated or pressed
- Ground pork
- Breadcrumbs
- Egg
- Finely chopped green onions
- Minced garlic
- Soy sauce
- Sriracha sauce
- Fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Drain the grated cucumber in a colander, add salt and let it drain for 10 minutes.
- Press to remove excess water, then mix with rice vinegar, sugar, and pepper. Refrigerate.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha, lime juice, honey, and garlic until smooth.
- Reserve.
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sriracha, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties slightly wider than the buns.
- Cook the patties on the grill, in a pan or on a hot plate for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until the pork is cooked through.
