A Japanese-inspired cocktail that highlights the freshness and delicacy of Sapporo beer. The tangy notes of yuzu perfectly balance the light and dry flavor of the beer, for an elegant and very refreshing appetizer.
Ingredients
- Sapporo beer well chilled
- fresh yuzu juice
- simple syrup
- sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- yuzu or lemon zest for decoration
Instructions
- Fill a large glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the yuzu juice and simple syrup.

- Bar spoon
- Jigger (measuring tool)
- Serve in a large clear glass filled with ice, garnished with a long yuzu or lemon zest. For an even more Japanese touch, accompany with a small skewer of lime slices or a bamboo stick.
- Spicy: add a thin slice of fresh ginger.
- Herbaceous: garnish with a shiso or mint leaf.
- Non-alcoholic: substitute Sapporo with a non-alcoholic blonde beer.
