- Garlic
- Lemon (in the cavity)
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 °F. Massage the chicken with softened butter, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Insert lemon and garlic into the cavity. Tie the legs if necessary.
- Roast for 1 hour 10 to 1 hour 20 minutes, basting at half-cook time. Let rest before slicing.
