- Butter
- Flour
- Hot Milk
- Nutmeg
- White Pepper and Salt
Instructions
- Melt butter and flour for 2 minutes without browning.
- Add hot milk while whisking. Thicken for 10 minutes.
- Season. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if lumps form.
