Caramelized onions, rich broth and a cheesy crust.
Ingredients
- Yellow Onions (sliced)
- Butter
- Dry White Wine
- Beef Broth
- Country Bread
- Grated Gruyère Cheese
- Thyme
Instructions
- Cook the onions at low heat for 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Deglaze with wine, add broth and thyme. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Pour into ramekins, bread, gruyère. Grill for 8 minutes in a 450 °F oven.
